Svvar integrated into Betalkontroll™
Evoluu and Betalkontroll™ are starting a partnership to make things easier and provide extra security for government agencies and organizations that use Betalkontroll™.
Just under a year ago, Swedish public sector procurement officers received a warning list, Svvar (Sveriges Offentliga Varningslista, Sweden's Public Warning List), whose purpose is to disseminate information and thus prevent public contracts from ending up with unscrupulous companies or suppliers with inadequate professional competence. Behind Svvar is the company Evoluu, founded by Morgan Jansson.
Since its inception, approximately 130 of Sweden's contracting authorities and organizations have joined as users of Svvar. This represents one-third of the country's regions and approximately one-fifth of its municipalities.
Betalkontroll™ is a cloud service used to increase internal control in the purchasing-to-payment process. The service identifies and stops incorrect payments before they occur. Betalkontroll™ also ensures that new suppliers meet the requirements for a business relationship and supports real-time monitoring of changes. Monitoring against Svvar is now also taking place.
"We are delighted to now be able to offer real-time monitoring of Svvar as a further step in helping municipalities, regions, and authorities with automated internal control. Svvar fulfills an important function that has previously been lacking," says Fredrik Lundholm, CEO of Betalkontroll™.
“I’m pleased that we’ve been able to establish this partnership with Betalkontroll. It means we’re working together to spread information about companies subject to exclusion. I also hope to see more registrations in Svvar going forward thanks to this partnership. I believe that Betalkontroll, Svvar, and all our public users will benefit from this,” says Morgan Jansson.
