What is Betalkontroll and how does it work?

Betalkontroll is a SaaS solution for checking payments. The system automatically checks your payments and performs hundreds of checks on each individual transaction. The platform then displays all current alerts – based entirely on your predefined requirements. In addition to analyzing transactions, Betalkontroll also offers a comprehensive solution for checking and monitoring new and existing suppliers. The platform also creates a structure for your internal control through automatic logging, smart approval flows, integrated checklists, and more.

We already have controls in our financial system, so why do we need Betalkontroll?

Almost all financial systems today have simple controls for incorrect payments such as duplicate payments. However, there are a large number of errors that financial systems do not catch. We set up automatic file communication, which means that all payments made are automatically analyzed – regardless of which system you use. If you are interested, we also have integrations for transaction analysis and accounts payable. We currently have ready-made integrations for Unit4, Raindance, and Fenix (Akribi), and we are happy to look into additional integrations if you are interested.

Can we see our contract suppliers in the platform?

Yes. If you have marked or imported your contract suppliers into the system, they can be clearly distinguished in the platform. This makes it easy to follow up on contract compliance, ensure that the right suppliers are used, and that purchases are made according to set guidelines. You can also receive a notification when a contract is about to expire. We also have ready-made integrations with Tendsign and E-avrop, where we automatically import information related to your agreements and contract suppliers.

What is required to get started with the service?

Getting started with Betalkontroll is easy. As a customer, you only need 30 minutes to activate file communication and 45 minutes for training in the platform – then you're ready to go. Betalkontroll does not require any other integrations with your systems, although we offer integrations with financial systems and contract management systems if you are interested.

What options are available for customizing the system?

Betalkontroll can be tailored entirely to your needs. Set a unique combination of alerts per supplier category and decide for yourself which thresholds and limits you want to work with. In addition to your own parameters, the controls in Betalkontroll are also adapted to your historical payment patterns to provide the most accurate alerts possible over time.

Is support included in the subscription?

Yes. We offer the same support to all our customers – both by phone and email. We also have a help center with all the information you need to get the most out of Betalkontroll.

How much does Betalkontroll cost?

In addition, we also offer a number of additional services to match your specific needs. The price is based on how many payments you make in a year and how many suppliers you have in the system. What does a transaction analysis involve?

A transaction analysis involves reviewing your actual payments to suppliers to identify patterns, deviations, and risks. These may include unusually large amounts, payments to new or unknown recipients, or transactions that deviate from historical payment patterns. The purpose is to detect potential errors and opportunities for improvement in the payment flow.

What does supplier control entail?

With our supplier control module, you can verify new suppliers and check existing ones based on various risk factors – such as financial stability, links to high-risk countries, or other changes at the supplier that require further analysis. With our supplier control, you can avoid working with unreliable or risky players.

What does supplier monitoring entail?

Supplier monitoring is ongoing monitoring of your existing suppliers. The system automatically alerts you if anything changes—for example, if a company's credit rating deteriorates, change of name, receives payment remarks, or changes its ownership structure. This allows you to act quickly in response to changes that may affect your business relationship.
