Analysis of supplier payments at a transaction level

Betalkontroll™ analyzes all supplier payments and alerts you immediately in case of discrepancies. Manage alerts and stop incorrect payments before they occur.

  • Notification of deviations

After the payment file or payment proposal is exported from the business system, Betalkontroll™ analyzes all outgoing transactions and alerts you to any discrepancies, such as duplicate payments, unreasonable amounts, incorrect recipients, scams, or risky suppliers.

  • Respond to warnings!

Log in to Betalkontroll™ and act on any alerts you get. Stop, investigate, or approve payments that have been flagged.

Handling discrepancies in the payment file

Company managers can handle and follow up on alerts in a simple interface via a computer or mobile device.

  1. All warnings gathered in one place

All warnings gathered in one place

In Betalkontroll™, you will find all supplier payments and warnings. Warnings are collected in an inbox so that they can be easily handled by the person responsible at the company. You can see both sent files and their payments and can use various filters or search functions.

You can, of course, also find all historical payments in Betalkontroll™.

  2. Approve, investigate, or stop payment

    Approve, investigate, or stop payment

Manage alerts by selecting an action.

Betalkontroll™ learns quickly, and you don't need to receive recurring alerts about deviations you approve, which means that the longer you use the system, the more accurate the analyses become.

  3. Share and comment

    Share and comment

Communicate via Betalkontroll™ through sharing and comments. Share information about a payment with the person you think knows more about the transaction and use the comment fields for, actions taken, your own notes, or other information.

All events are logged in Betalkontroll™

All events, whether they involve Betalkontroll's analysis engine or users sharing, commenting, or performing actions, are logged, which is appreciated by both the business and auditors.

Statistics and reporting

Betalkontroll™ sends monthly reports and statistics to selected subscribers.

Here's how it works

  1. Your business system exports payment files or payment proposals
  2. Betalkontroll™ analyzes all transactions in the file
  3. Acknowledgment with any warnings to subscribers for transaction analysis
  4. Manage the alert in Betalkontroll™. Stop, investigate, or approve the payment.

The transaction analysis includes the following:

  • Identifies and warns of duplicate payments. Betalkontroll™ uses a unique methodology and finds duplicate payments that EIM systems and business systems cannot identify.
  • Fake invoices and fake companies. Betalkontroll™ has up-to-date data from several block lists.
  • Internal and external fraud. Betalkontroll™ can be configured to detect various types of fraud.
  • Unreasonable amounts. Over time, Betalkontroll™ can detect amounts that deviate from the normal distribution to different payees.
  • Payments to suppliers who do not meet your unique requirements, such as various types of credit information or company status.
  • Payments to the wrong recipient.
  • Several different variants of limiters.
  • Credit invoices paid as debit.
  • All alerts are handled in a workflow so that those responsible can make different choices based on the type of alert and action.
  • Transactions and suppliers can be shared between users for an efficient workflow
  • See who did what at any given time via detailed logging in the system
  • Easy configuration of notifications by notification type
