"It is actually new suppliers that have been checked in the past. Changes that occur during this period have not been captured, but this is now being done with the help of Betalkontroll," says Lena Andersson.

Payment control has also become a natural part of Axfood's daily routines. Every morning begins with the team reviewing alerts and notifications in the system, enabling them to act quickly in response to changes, such as when a supplier loses its F-tax status.
