Challenge: Increased need for internal control
As one of Sweden's largest companies in the broadband, TV, and telephony industry, Tele2 works with a large number of suppliers on a daily basis and handles a significant amount of supplier invoices. There were therefore many reasons for wanting to ensure the quality of this process.
The process Tele2 used to add and manage new suppliers was inefficient, resulting in unnecessary administration. There was also no good system in place to automatically detect incorrect invoices or duplicate payments, or to stop payments to suppliers who lacked approved information.
