Last updated on October 30, 2025

We protect our customers' privacy and security. Our Data Protection Policy explains how we collect and use your personal data and what rights you have in relation to us.

We are constantly working to improve our processes and the handling of your personal data. This means that we may update our Data Protection Policy, and we recommend that you read through the document regularly. We always inform our customers of any significant changes to the policy.

What is personal data and what is the processing of personal data?

Personal data is any kind of information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a living individual. For example, images and audio recordings processed on a computer may constitute personal data even if no names are mentioned. Any action taken with personal data constitutes processing, regardless of whether it is performed automatically or not. Examples of common processing activities include collection, registration, organization, structuring, storage, processing, transfer, and deletion.

Who is responsible for the personal data we collect?

When you become a customer of Payified AB, org. no. 559098-9553, you accept the processing described in our Data Protection Policy. Payified AB is the Data Controller for the information we process about you as a customer. This relationship is governed by our general terms and conditions and this Data Protection Policy.

How do we handle your personal data?

Payified registers and processes personal data in cases where it is necessary for us to be able to deliver a good experience and a functioning service to you as a customer, or to fulfill agreements and obligations under the law. The data is stored for as long as we need it to meet the above requirements.

What information do we collect about you and why?

When you enter into a service agreement with Payified AB, we need the following information: Name, organization number, email address, telephone number, and postal address. We process and store this information in order to invoice you as a customer in a correct and lawful manner.

When an organization adds other contact details or gives more users access to its account, that information is also saved.

We may send emails to all customers, for example, messages about service disruptions or changes to the terms of use. Such messages are sent to the email address provided by the customer.

We may also send you emails about product news or information that we think you, as a customer, may be interested in. You can always opt out of receiving such emails from us by clicking on "unsubscribe" at the end of each email.

We also document which IP addresses make changes (logins, updates, etc.) and visit betalkontroll.se in order to prevent misuse of a service or to prevent, prevent, and investigate crimes against the company and/or the customer.

Voluntary information

We store the first and last names (and in some cases the organization number and name of the organization you represent) that you enter in various contact forms on betalkontroll.se. This could be, for example, an expression of interest in a webinar or registration to take advantage of various offers and campaigns. We do this in order to perform our services and to maintain smooth communication.

When you contact our support team, the personal data you provide is saved. In addition to the email address you use to contact us, this also includes personal data in text format, such as a telephone number you would like us to call you on. We save this information so that we can offer you a personalized and relevant support service when you contact us in the future.

You can also communicate with us through social media. When you do so, the data protection policy (or equivalent policy) of the respective platform applies. We use social media and the information you provide in accordance with what we are permitted to do under their policy.

Automatically collected data

When you use our services, we store and process data about how you use them. In some cases, this information is shared with selected third-party providers of marketing and analysis tools in order to offer you a better experience. This may be done through the use of cookies. Read our Cookie Policy.

Examples of other automatically collected information include:

  • IP addresses from logs in the systems we use to manage our infrastructure.
  • Information in logs about the type of device you are connecting from. The information cannot identify you personally, but in combination with other data, it could potentially do so.
  • Information from social media in accordance with the parent company's policy.

Does Payified AB have a Data Processing Agreement?

Yes. To make it easier for you as a customer to comply with GDPR, we have developed a Personal Data Processing Agreement based on the IT&Telekomföretagen agreement terms "Special provisions for the processing of personal data in connection with cloud services" that you can sign with us.

Please contact support@betalkontroll.se if you have any questions about the Data Processing Agreement.

What rights do I have as a customer?

As a customer of Payified AB, you always have the right to access the information we have stored about you. You can submit your request via our support website, and we will usually process it within 30 days. If we notice that it will take longer, we will inform you of the reason and any other obstacles.

To ensure that we share the information with the right person, you as a customer must log in to the support website and create a case.

You have the right to ask us to delete all information we have stored about you (the right to be forgotten). Please note that due to the Accounting Act (1999:1078) and other relevant laws, we sometimes have to store information even after such a request has been processed.
